For the last few years, Rafael has been working as Key Account Director and in Business Development with Liganova, a Retail and Strategy Consultancy. In this function, he gained a lot of experience in retail and rollout business (marketing as well as software rollouts) and interdisciplinary team leadership. Most recently, he was responsible for major innovative initiatives in the automotive sector such as the new development of the Mercedes-Benz trade fair format with the founding of the conference brand meConvention or future projects for automotive retail.

Rafael’s professional focus and passion is in the development of business management and content-related brand-forming potentials, omnichannel marketing and sales models of the future as well as process innovation and optimization. Currently, his range of activities includes consulting for organizations with a focus on business model or divisional innovation, transformation, organizational development, and strategic marketing as well as project and content-related creative/strategy lead with holistic ways of thinking and working. He also has a sound experience in leading teams of different profiles and levels of maturity as well as in stakeholder management of various industries, contact persons and profiles.

Rafael’s personal interests include social transformation, dealing with uncertainty, and motor sports.
